Last great steam railroad nears end of line

International Herald Tribune reports that the Chinese Govt. plans to shut down the last long distance steam railroad in the mongolian region. The Chinese govt. is keen not to keep anything so aged as a steam railway before the the 1008 Olympics reach China. Adiew to the gentle beast. Read the full story here
